Current policy

Introduction

When you visit our website, information about you may be collected. We use the information to operate the website, respond to enquiries, improve the content and – if you give your consent – measure traffic and the effectiveness of our marketing.

This policy explains which information we process, why we do so, who may receive it and what rights you have.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your computer, mobile phone or similar device. They can be used to recognise the device, remember settings, create statistics and support marketing. Cookies cannot contain harmful code such as viruses.

We distinguish between technically necessary functions and optional statistics or marketing. Statistical and marketing technologies are only loaded after you have accepted them. You can reject them and later change your choice via Cookie settings in the footer.

Technically necessary functions

  • A session function is used for secure form processing and protection against misuse.

  • Your cookie choice is stored locally in the browser under the name tfk_tracking_consent until you delete your browser data or change your choice.

  • Google Maps is only loaded if you actively choose to display the map on the contact page.

Statistics and marketing

The website is prepared for Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel. The individual services are only used if they are configured in the administration and you have given your consent. They may process information about page views, clicks, device, browser, IP address and approximate geographical area. The text of the form, contact details and file names are not sent to the analytics or advertising tools.

Google Tag Manager manages tags but does not necessarily set cookies itself. Google Analytics may, among other things, use cookies with names beginning with _ga. Meta may, among other things, use _fbp. Names and lifespans may be changed by the providers.

Personal data

Information from the contact form

When you submit an enquiry, we process the information you provide yourself: type of work, project stage, description of the work, any photographs or drawings, name, telephone number, email, postcode and town, as well as information about how you heard about us.

We also store the time of your privacy consent, the page from which the enquiry originated and any UTM parameters, first landing page and referrer. This makes it possible to track the enquiry and understand which marketing led to it.

Technical information

During normal use of the website, servers and security systems may process technical information such as IP address, time, browser, device type, pages visited and error messages. The information is used for operation, troubleshooting and protection against misuse.

Purposes and legal basis for processing

  • Enquiries and quotations: We process information in order to respond to your enquiry, assess the work and potentially enter into an agreement. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation, or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, cf. point (f).

  • Operation and security: Technical information is processed to keep the website stable and secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest, cf. Article 6(1)(f).

  • Statistics and marketing: Optional tracking technologies are processed on the basis of your consent, cf. Article 6(1)(a). You may withdraw your consent at any time.

  • Legal requirements: If an enquiry becomes a customer assignment, information may be retained where required by accounting or other legislation, cf. Article 6(1)(c).

Retention

Information is retained for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or for as long as required by law. An unanswered or completed enquiry is deleted or anonymised when there is no longer an objective need for it. If the enquiry becomes part of a customer or accounting matter, retention follows the relevant statutory period.

Your consent choice remains in your own browser until you change it or delete your browser data. The retention periods of analytics and advertising providers depend on the configuration active with the individual provider.

Recipients and data processors

We do not disclose contact details to others for their own marketing. Information may be processed by providers that assist us with hosting, email, security, administration and analytics. They may only process information in accordance with our instructions, unless they are themselves data controllers for separate processing.

If Google or Meta services are activated, information may be processed outside the EU/EEA. In that case, the transfer must take place on a valid transfer basis, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Information may also be shared when necessary to resolve a specific matter or when we are legally obliged to do so.

Security

We have implemented technical and organisational measures to protect information against accidental or unlawful deletion, disclosure, loss, deterioration, misuse and access by unauthorised persons. Attachments to enquiries are stored privately and are not publicly accessible via the website.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or disclosure of your information. You may object to processing based on a legitimate interest, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Contact us at hej@tfkenn.dk if you wish to exercise your rights or have questions about our processing of personal data.

Complaints

You may complain about our processing of personal data to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, via datatilsynet.dk.

Changes to the policy

The policy is updated when the website's functions, providers or our processing changes. The current version and date are shown at the top of the page. Previous versions are stored in the administration.
